Sovereign Supply Chain Solutions L.L.C. was established in 2009 by logistics veterans who saw a gap in the market: mid-size industrial companies needed enterprise-grade supply chain expertise without the overhead of a Fortune 500 provider.

We built Sovereign to fill that gap — combining the agility of a boutique firm with the resources and reach of a national logistics company. Today, our clients span the energy, petrochemical, manufacturing, construction, and retail sectors across the United States.

Our mission is straightforward: deliver measurable improvement in every logistics engagement, backed by data, executed by experienced professionals, and underpinned by an unwavering commitment to client success.

15 Years of Growth

From a two-person brokerage to a full-service logistics enterprise, every milestone has been earned through hard work and client trust.

2009

Founding

Sovereign is founded in Houston, TX, by David Hargrove and Maria Santos as a freight brokerage serving the Gulf Coast energy corridor.

2012

Asset Acquisition

We purchased our first 18 tractors and 36 trailers, transitioning from broker-only to an asset-based carrier with OTR capabilities.

2016

Warehousing Launch

Opened our first 120,000 sq ft distribution center in the South Houston Industrial District, adding 3PL and fulfillment services.

2020

Consulting Practice

Launched a dedicated supply chain consulting division, serving enterprise clients with network optimization and technology integration projects.

2024

National Expansion

Achieved coast-to-coast coverage with regional hubs in Dallas, Atlanta, and Phoenix. Fleet surpassed 200 units; workforce exceeded 380 professionals.
